Main Applications: Specifically used to condense the steam that leaks past the first section of seals on the shaft of a steam turbine.
Could be named sealing condenser or leakage condenser too. It is used to reuse the injected steam in the backlash of the backpressure steam turbines, thus preventing air from entering the system under a vacuum. This equipment consists of an ejector or extractor that makes the suction of the steam that circulates through the turbine bearings, that steam is condensed by the gland condenser.
Main Applications: Steam turbine condensation under vacuum, Fluid condensation in all process industries.
The surface condenser is used when an industrial plant have water to cool the hot source. It's a compact solution if you compare a system with air cooled condenser.
Main Applications: Improvement of the steam heat transfers properties.
Types of Desuperheating: By atomization of the cooling fluid and absorption surface type.
Desuperheaters have the purpose of desuperheating the steam present in many industrial processes through the injection of a coolant fluid in the steam flow.
Main Applications: Waterjet eductors, Pumping liquids, Pumping gases, Tank mix, Pumping and heating fluids.
The use of eductors is the most efficient way of pumping or moving many types of liquids and gases in the petrochemical, process and energy industries.
Main Applications: Mixture of fluids and gases, Filtration, Concentration, Vacuum destilation process, Cooling water, Drying, Desodorization, Hydrogenation, Vacuum suction.
An Ejector works converting the pressure energy of the motive fluid into kinetic energy or velocity. This phenomenon occurs because of the venturi effect, caused by the motive nozzle. With supersonic velocity, inside the suction chamber occur a drag effect that allow the suction of fluids through the suction nozzle. The mix of motive fluid and suction fluid are released over the difusor, that converting the velocity in pressure energy, releasing the mix with the demanded pressure through the discharge nozzle.
Main Applications: Decontamination of polluted gases
Jet venturi scrubber use a injector nozzle designed to spray a liquid inside of a venturi vessel. The contamined gas enter inside the vessel and in contact with the liquid sprayed by the nozzle along with the effect of the venturi purifies the contamined gas.
Main Applications: Mixing, Concentration, Desalting, Homogenizing.
The static mixers are used to mix two or more fluids using the flow of this fluids to do a homogeneous mixture. This equipment uses an internal mix element to create a turbulent flow inside the body of the mixer with a little pressure drop.
Main Applications: Condensing, Cooling, Heating, Evaporation, Vaporization.
Heat-Exchangers are basically equipment that heat or cool fluids through thermal exchange means between two sources available in the process (hot fluid and cold fluid) which must be at different temperatures and separated by a solid bulkhead. This change occurs only because of the temperature difference between the two fluids present inside the equipment.
Preheater are used in a regenerative steam cycle, fed by extraction of turbine at various points, which correspond to each pre-heating stage, which leads to the necessity of various preheaters. The condensate return and makeup water are heated using preheaters that avoid thermal shock in the boiler and reduces the fuel consumption.
Separators are essential equipment that must be installed in steam lines to remove moisture droplets entrained in the steam flow and also any condensate that could be present inside the line.
Main Applications: Noise reduction of steam exhaust
Vent Silencers are used in applications where a gas flow are discharged to the atmosphere with high velocity, or pressure. The silencer acts like a sponge, absorbing the noise and discharging with a level of sound permited by the law or a level that not causes damages.
They are widely used when large-scale cold water generation is required. Vacuum cooling systems operate in accordance with the principle of flash evaporation. Conventional refrigeration systems are equipped with electric compressors and various components that require periodic maintenance (rotating components), consume a large amount of electrical energy, which significantly increases operating costs. Vacuum refrigeration systems have very low operating costs, consume residual or excess steam as a motive fluid, have superior durability and performance and, above all, are an ecological solution and environmentally friendly.
Main Applications: Steam Condensation, Distillation plants, Desodoring of edible oils, Crystallization, Deaeration, Cooling, Drying.
Vacuum Systems by group of ejectors: Composed of ejectors, condenser, valves, silencer, piping and steel frame, this model could be arranged for a long range of applications. To achieve the level of desired vacuum, vacuum systems can work with one ejetor or groups of ejectors.
Main Applications: Produce vacuum in evaporators, dryers, distillation plants, rectification, lyophilization, polycondensation, degassing, deodorization of plants, etc.
Grouped in several phases associated with capacitors and ejectors, where capacitors are typically used between successive ejectors, the multi-stage vacuum system can achieve about 3 microns of Hg (six stages of ejectors, together with two capacitors) using steam as driving environment.
Main Applications: Mixing of different ranges of steam
Thermocompressors are a type of ejectors that presents a high energy and operational efficiency through the reduction of the use of motive steam and the disposition of this reduced quantity to a greater range of processes in the industrial plants.
